Fresh wind springing up

September 2010HUSUM WindEnergy is taking place from September 21 – 25, 2010. An internationally diverse public is expected to attend this trade show. 950 exhibitors in the winder energy sector will be on hand to welcome an estimated 25,000 visitors from 70 countries.

ContiTech Vibration Control GmbH is among the exhibitors at HUSUM WindEnergy, presenting its know-how in the wind power sector at booth C02 in hall 2. It will be focusing is on product solutions for wind turbines and computer simulated design of these.

ContiTech Vibration Control has decades of experience in controlled process manufacturing of suspension components for industrial applications. It offers customized vibration control technology from one source. The company produces state-of-the-art bearing systems for wind energy plants employing rubber, a material with high promise for the future. Vibration Control thus makes a major contribution toward boosting the cost- and performance-efficiency of wind turbines and thus toward rendering them more eco-friendly. ContiTech also invites visitors at the show to a more in-depth lecture presentation. At 11:00 a.m. on September 24, 2010, Stefan Preussler, advanced development engineer, will address the topic of “Measuring and simulating using the example of a wind energy plant” in room 3 of the HUSUM WindEnergy Congress Center.
